TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern all purchases from Shoreline Compounds (“Shoreline,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including peptides, reference materials, and other chemical compounds (collectively, “Products”).
By accessing our website, placing an order, or purchasing Products from Shoreline, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
1. RESEARCH USE ONLY
Shoreline Products are sold strictly for laboratory, analytical, and research purposes only.
PRODUCTS ARE NOT FOR HUMAN OR ANIMAL CONSUMPTION OR USE.
Products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition and are not intended for use as drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, medical devices, or household products.
By purchasing from Shoreline, you represent and warrant that:
• You are at least 21 years of age;
• You possess the knowledge, training, facilities, and equipment necessary to safely handle the Products purchased;
• You are purchasing Products solely for lawful research or analytical purposes;
• You will not use, administer, ingest, inject, introduce, or otherwise apply any Product to a human or animal;
• You will not purchase Products on behalf of another person for human or animal use;
• You will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations concerning the purchase, possession, handling, storage, use, and disposal of the Products.
Shoreline reserves the right to refuse, limit, cancel, or terminate any transaction or customer account if we reasonably believe that Products may be purchased, marketed, resold, or used for an unauthorized purpose.
2. PURCHASER RESPONSIBILITY AND PRODUCT HANDLING
Our Products may possess properties that have not been fully characterized. Purchasers are solely responsible for determining appropriate laboratory procedures and safety precautions.
You are responsible for the proper receipt, transportation, storage, handling, testing, use, and disposal of all Products purchased from Shoreline.
Appropriate laboratory practices, protective equipment, containment procedures, and industrial hygiene protocols should be used whenever appropriate.
Shoreline assumes no responsibility for injury, loss, damage, or other consequences resulting from improper handling, storage, misuse, unauthorized use, or use inconsistent with these Terms.
3. PRODUCT INFORMATION
Product descriptions, specifications, testing information, certificates of analysis, and other materials provided by Shoreline are supplied for research and informational purposes.
Product information is not medical advice and should not be interpreted as establishing the safety or suitability of a Product for human or animal use.
Research results may vary based upon laboratory conditions, methodology, equipment, storage, handling, and other factors outside Shoreline’s control.
4. ORDERS AND ACCEPTANCE
Orders may be submitted through the Shoreline website using the purchasing options available at checkout.
Submitting an order does not constitute our acceptance of that order. Shoreline reserves the right to accept, reject, limit, or cancel any order for reasons including:
• Product availability;
• Pricing or listing errors;
• Suspected fraud;
• Payment issues;
• Unusual purchasing activity;
• Regulatory or compliance concerns;
• Suspected unauthorized use; or
• Violation of these Terms.
If Shoreline cancels an order after payment has been collected, the applicable purchase amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
5. PRICING AND PAYMENT
Prices displayed on our website are subject to change without notice. Price changes will not affect orders already accepted by Shoreline.
Payment must be received and authorized before Products are shipped.
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout and may change from time to time.
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate billing, payment, and shipping information.
Shoreline may use third-party payment processors to process transactions. Payment information submitted through those services is also subject to the applicable processor’s terms and privacy practices.
6. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Shoreline currently ships Products within the United States to locations we are legally and commercially able to serve.
Available shipping methods, costs, and any free-shipping thresholds will be displayed at checkout or elsewhere on our website.
Delivery dates and transit times are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Carrier delays, weather, holidays, service interruptions, incorrect addresses, and other circumstances outside Shoreline’s control may affect delivery.
Tracking information will generally be provided after an order has shipped.
Once a shipment has been transferred to the carrier, carrier tracking information and estimated delivery dates are controlled by the carrier.
If a shipment appears significantly delayed, lost, or damaged, contact Shoreline customer support promptly so that we can investigate and, when appropriate, assist with the carrier claims process.
7. RETURNS, REFUNDS AND REPLACEMENTS
Because Shoreline sells laboratory research Products whose storage and handling conditions cannot be verified after delivery, opened or used Products cannot be returned.
Shoreline will review requests involving:
• Products damaged during shipment;
• Incorrect Products shipped by Shoreline;
• Missing Products;
• Products that materially fail to meet Shoreline’s stated specifications;
• Packages that cannot be located or otherwise present a verified delivery issue; or
• Duplicate orders reported before shipment.
Claims involving damaged, incorrect, missing, or potentially defective Products should be reported promptly and may require photographs, packaging information, lot or batch numbers, and other documentation reasonably requested by Shoreline.
Unless otherwise stated by Shoreline, claims should be submitted within 30 days of delivery, and visible shipping damage should be reported within 48 hours of receipt.
Shoreline generally cannot provide refunds or replacements for:
• Opened or used Products;
• Improperly stored Products;
• Orders canceled after shipment;
• Customer ordering errors or changes of mind;
• Damage caused after delivery; or
• Claims submitted more than 30 days after delivery.
When Shoreline determines that a refund or replacement is appropriate, we may issue a replacement, refund, or store credit depending upon the circumstances.
Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method.
8. STORE CREDIT AND PROMOTIONAL CREDIT
Shoreline may issue store credit or promotional credit at its discretion.
Unless otherwise expressly stated:
• Store credit has no cash value;
• Credit cannot be transferred between customers or accounts;
• Credit cannot be redeemed for cash;
• Credit cannot be applied retroactively to completed purchases;
• Promotional credit may be subject to expiration dates, product restrictions, or promotional conditions; and
• Shoreline may correct or revoke credit issued because of fraud, abuse, technical errors, duplicate accounts, chargebacks, canceled transactions, or violations of these Terms.
Attempts to obtain promotional benefits through duplicate accounts, false identities, manipulated email addresses, or other methods intended to circumvent promotional limitations are prohibited.
Shoreline may suspend or terminate promotional privileges or customer accounts associated with suspected abuse.
9. COMPLIMENTARY RESEARCH MATERIALS
From time to time, Shoreline may include complimentary research materials, including research water, with qualifying purchases.
Complimentary items may be automatically added to qualifying orders and may be subject to availability, order thresholds, or promotional terms.
Complimentary research materials are subject to the same research-use restrictions contained in these Terms.
10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED BY SHORELINE IN WRITING, PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHORELINE DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
NO INFORMATION PROVIDED BY SHORELINE CONSTITUTES A REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY THAT ANY PRODUCT IS SAFE, EFFECTIVE, OR APPROPRIATE FOR HUMAN OR ANIMAL USE.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SHORELINE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE PURCHASE, POSSESSION, STORAGE, HANDLING, USE, MISUSE, OR DISPOSAL OF PRODUCTS.
This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability and regardless of whether Shoreline was advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
12. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Shoreline Compounds and its owners, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, representatives, and agents from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or relating to:
• Your purchase, possession, handling, storage, use, resale, transfer, or disposal of Products;
• Any use of Products inconsistent with these Terms;
• Your violation of applicable law or regulation;
• Your violation of the rights of another person or entity; or
• Any inaccurate representation made by you in connection with a purchase.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Shoreline name, trademarks, logos, website content, graphics, photographs, product presentation, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to Shoreline and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Nothing contained on our website grants any license or right to reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, or commercially exploit Shoreline intellectual property without prior written authorization.
14. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
Customers may voluntarily elect to receive promotional emails or SMS/text communications from Shoreline.
Marketing consent is not a condition of purchasing Products.
Email recipients may unsubscribe using the unsubscribe mechanism contained in our marketing emails.
SMS subscribers may opt out by replying STOP and may request assistance by replying HELP.
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.
Transactional communications concerning orders, payments, account security, or shipping may still be sent when necessary regardless of marketing preferences.
Shoreline will handle personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable law.
15. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
Customers may not use Shoreline’s website, Products, or services to engage in unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive activity.
Without limiting the foregoing, customers may not:
• Purchase Products for unauthorized human or animal use;
• Misrepresent the intended use of Products;
• Make false statements regarding their qualifications or intended research;
• Use Shoreline materials to promote Products for human consumption or therapeutic use;
• Circumvent purchasing restrictions or account limitations;
• Engage in fraudulent payment activity or chargeback abuse; or
• Violate applicable federal, state, or local law.
Shoreline may refuse service, cancel orders, restrict purchasing privileges, or terminate accounts when we reasonably believe these requirements have been violated.
16. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These Terms and any dispute arising from the purchase of Products or use of the Shoreline website will be governed by the laws of the Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction as permitted by applicable law.
17. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Shoreline may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our operations, Products, legal requirements, or business practices.
The version posted on our website at the time of purchase will generally govern that transaction.
Continued use of the Shoreline website after revised Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
18. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
19. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with any applicable Privacy Policy, shipping policy, return policy, and other terms expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement between the customer and Shoreline concerning purchases from our website.

BY PLACING AN ORDER WITH SHORELINE COMPOUNDS, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREED TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE/SALE, INCLUDING THE REQUIREMENT THAT ALL PRODUCTS ARE SOLD STRICTLY FOR LAWFUL RESEARCH USE AND NOT FOR HUMAN OR ANIMAL CONSUMPTION OR USE.
